First Week - DONE!

2nd Grade Thumbprint Pineapple
This week has been so busy! I met most of my students, but about half of the younger kids will meet me next week.
We worked on some collage, thumbprint painting, face drawing (yay for shapes!) and line drawing.  Fourth grade created "About Me" post its, with each class creating a collage (we also sprinkled in some things they could tell me about their teacher). We are looking forward to COLOR...in all grades :)

My name is Annie MacKay and I am the new elementary Art teacher! My family and I just moved here from Southern California and we are excited for this new chapter.
I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a California Teaching Credential and a Master's Degree in Digital Teaching & Learning.  I taught elementary Art for 6 years before we made this move to Utah.
I love painting, photography, furniture restoration, Legos, anything rainbow, polka dots, and dessert, all kinds but especially red velvet cupcakes. YUM!
